   40 Hadith Nawawi: Hadith 8

عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ سَلَّم قَالَ: “أُمِرْتُ أَنْ أُقَاتِلَ النَّاسَ حَتَّى يَشْهَدُوا أَنْ لَا إلَهَ إلَّا اللَّهُ وَأَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ، وَيُقِيمُوا الصَّلَاةَ، وَيُؤْتُوا الزَّكَاةَ؛ فَإِذَا فَعَلُوا ذَلِكَ عَصَمُوا مِنِّي دِمَاءَهُمْ وَأَمْوَالَهُمْ إلَّا بِحَقِّ الْإِسْلَامِ، وَحِسَابُهُمْ عَلَى اللَّهِ تَعَالَى”.

رَوَاهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ وَمُسْلِمٌ

English

On the authority of Abdullah ibn Umar (ra):

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, “I have been ordered to fight against the people until they testify that there is none worthy of worship except Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, and until they establish the salah and pay the zakat. And if they do that then they will have gained protection from me for their lives and property, unless (they commit acts that are punishable) in Islam, and their reckoning will be with Allah.”

Daga ɗan Umaru Allah ya yarda a gare su

Manzon Allah (SAW) ya ce: “An umarce ni in yaƙi mutane har sai sun shaida cewa ba abun bautawa bisa ga cancanta sai Allah, kuma sun yarda Annabi Muhammadu Manzon Allah ne (SAW), su tsaida Sallah, su bayar da Zakkah, idan sun aikata haka, sun kare jininsu da dukiyoyin su daga gare ni, sai bisa haƙƙin Musulunci, hisabinsu yana gun Allah Ta’ala”.

Bukhari da Muslim ne suka ruwaito shi.
